I have purchased the Mini-ITX development board but the unit turns off within seconds after power on. There are no issues with the ATX power supply. I would like suggestions on how to troubleshoot the issue.

Hello Rouben,
Could you check and make sure that the jumper is installed in location J14?

Hi Gary,
The board did not have the jumper installed in location J14. The problem still exists with the jumper installed.

Hello Rouben,
I received the following input on your question:
We have a power switch circuit for the chassis on page 13 of the schematics. If there is something wrong with this circuit (the AND gate or the Flip-Flop) it could turn the power off. The problem most likely reside within that circuit. Have them probe the PWR_ON# signal on page 13 to see if the circuit is indeed turning off the ATX power supply.
The schematic for the Mini-ITX can be found here: http://zedboard.org/support/documentation/2056

With the board switched off and the ATX power supply connected, I am reading 5V DC on the PWR_ON# pin (pin 16 of the P2 connector). When I turn on the board, that voltage drops to zero and the board turns off.
