FTDI FT2232H in Ubuntu

Hello,

I´m trying to use Minized in a Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS system.

After connecting the USB cable, I can program the board through JTAG, but cannot access the UART port.

Looking at dmsg, the ttyUSB0 (uart?) port is getting disconnected soon after the cable is connected.

ttyUSB1 (jtag?) works fine.

I tried using two different boards, same behavior. In a Windows system the JTAG/UART dual USB-to-UART works fine.

Any ideas?

Follows dmsg results.

    Hello Joadullius,

As you plug in your MiniZed two ports enumerate USB0 and USB1. For using the MinIZed you must connect to USB1. Try that and tell me how it worked.

    Thanks,

    Josh

    Thanks for the Reply.

I don't know why, but some days later both ttyUSB0 and ttyUSB1 started to work properly after cable pluging.

May something was wrong with my Ubuntu system...
