Using bluetooth in VHDL

Question

Hi!

I'm trying to implement the Bluetooth capabilities on my Minized to transfer either a log file or just some simple integers to my PC.

So far I've paired the board with my PC using Petalinux, but is there a way to do this in Vivado entirely and avoid using P-linux?

If this is not the case, suggestions or links for how to actually transfer the files in linux are welcome!

I am unsure of what you mean by VHDL, since some of what is in the PL for the Bluetooth interconnect was done in VHDL. If you look on http://zedboard.org/product/minized under Reference Designs, you will see a document inside " Using Bluetooth on MiniZed 2017.4 ". This describes the interfaces and what is required on both the programmable logic and the processor system side. You cannot use a standalone process running on the software side though. It has to be Linux for the Type 1DX Bluetooth driver.
