We want to use Minized in device mode through the USB HostA connector using the standard linux USB gadget drivers. The drivers all work on the ZC702, but for Minized it seems we need to force the USB PHY into device mode.
Has anyone done this? The minized uses a Microchip USB3320 PHY and following the datasheet everything is setup for OTG/Host, i.e. the ID pin is grounded. We did modify C21 to a 4.7uF cap to adhere to the datasheet requirement for OTG mode. But that doesn't work.
We've heard you can force the PHY into OTG device mode via drivers or devicetree but I haven't found any references. Or maybe the ID pin just has to be reworked and tied high?
