picoZed 7010 MTBF

Hello everyone,

does anybody know the value of the MTBF parameter in picoZed 7010 SoM?

I guess the exact value is going to be difficult to get. But an estimate would help me a lot, since I have to do some calculations and I need some value to put into that parameter.

Yes, MTBF is the mean time between failures. And it is applied to any mechanical or electronic system. Taking into account that picoZed is an electronic equipment, it is supposed to have a MTBF parameter.

We do not calculate that as we do not know what you are doing with the SOM. As it was explained to me, it would be a function of your system.

I'm afraid I don't agree with you, since picoZed is a system by itself (SoM = System on Module), Thus it should have a MTBF parameter associated.

In order to calculate the MTBF of my system, I have to calculate the MTBF of each PCB separately. I have already calculated the MTBF of all of the PCBs but the picoZed, since I'm not the manufacturer of that board and I guess it's a parameter the manufacturer should provide. That's the reason why I'm asking about that parameter.
