Effort to move from MicroZed to PicoZed

Our business partner built a demo system based on the MicroZed board, and we would like to integrate it into our products. But for mechanical reasons, we need to use the PicoZed board.

If we add all hardware that is present on the MicroZed but missing on the PicoZed, should that solution be completly software comptible to the demo system? If not, what needs to be changed? Are there any pitfalls?

If you add the USB-UART, SD Card, Ethernet connector, and USB 2.0 connector, then the PicoZed system is identical to MicroZed in pinout and QSPI/DDR3 capacity. PicoZed has the additional eMMC, but you are not required to use it.

In fact, since the DDR3 layout for MicroZed and PicoZed 7010/20 is identical, the DDR3 initialization numbers are identical. You can see this in the Preset TCL files or board definitions for each.
