How to Create Custom FSBL

Hello,

I believe that the reason my custom Picozed images are not booting properly is that the FSBL that I have created is incorrect. The "Booting PicoZed using QSPI and eMMC" document does not have a section on the process of creating an FSBL, it only says that you must create one.

I have found a process for creating FSBL with SDK in the Picozed tutorial package, but the specific configuration does not work.

What is the proper way to create an FSBL for Picozed that is booting from QSPI and eMMC, with BOOT.BIN and image.ub?

    Hi Tyler,

    What version of PetaLinux tools are you using?

    How far is your PicoZed boot process getting before it fails?

    Is there a particular reason why you need to create a custom FSBL for your PicoZed design?

    We are working on releasing some PicoZed updates with the PetaLinux 2017.4 tools and so far we have not encountered any needs to modify the default FSBL that is provided by PetaLinux tools.
