New eMMC qualification for Picozed

Question

Pico zed's 7020 REV C04 schematic lists MTFC4GMDEA-4M IT and series of alternate parts that seem to be EOL this year 2017.

"Micron eMMC meets Xilinx requirement" 2016 FEB thread was discussing future replacement eMMC qualification.

What was the result of this qualification? I'm looking for 32GB replacement to MTFC32GJDED-4M IT which is currently listed "contact factory" in Micron catalog.

We are working on qualifying the v5.0 eMMC from Micron. Our initial tests with the 8GB MTFC8GAKAJCN-4M IT have been successful. I have requested the complete details to see if we can officially make a statement.

I am also told by Xilinx that Zynq will support up to 32 GB now, with 64 GB support coming soon.

The 32 GB MTFC32GJDED-4M IT is in production, but it is not recommended for new designs as it is the old v4.41 technology. I suggest you look at the v5.0 MTFC32GAKAECN-4M IT.

I will report back with more details as I find them out.
