PicoZed, Commercial vs. Industrial Grade

My procurement folks are telling me that, PN: AES-Z7PZ-7Z030-SOM-G) is no longer available according to Avnet (Vendor). Replacement PN: AES-Z7PZ-7Z030-I-G/REVE, this is industrial grade.

Are these two part numbers form/fit/functionally identical, save for the temperature rating?

Hello OOIII,
Yes that is correct, they are form/fit/functionally identical except the I grade is rated from -40C to 80C. Please feel free to ask for additional clarification you need.

Thanks for the reply Josh. Perfect, I just wanted to make sure the increased temperature range didn't come from extra heat sinking or other size/outline changing HW or material.

The increased temperature range comes from using only components that are rated at -40 to 85 C or better. Note that the I-grade PicoZed 7030 price is being lowered to the previous price of the C-grade.
