FMC CC V2 + PZ7030 PCIe example

Hi,

first of all, I will like to excuse my self if this will be a silly question, but I'm novice in FPGA development. Up to now, I work on some projects with Arty board and now I want to jump on something bigger, and I have few questions.

I need to develop a PCIe device for some data acquisition and I decide to work with FMC Carrier card V2 and PicoZed7030. Now I'm looking for some good starting point and I'm stuck :(

So, here is my questions:

1. I find nice example for PCIe demonstration with FMC CC V1 and PicoZed7015/30. I try to adopt it to V2, but I'm doing something wrong. I try to adopt constrains file but I mess something up. Is there an example like this but for V2 card?

2. In that example, we access LED's directly and lighten them up. Is there an example how to connect them to ZYNQ processor and do and data interchange with processor (through AXI?)?

I appreciate any help and thank you in advance

I'm using:

            FMC Carrier card V2

            PicoZed 7030

            Vivado 2016.2

THX

    Hello Goran,

    1. It does not look like we have a reference design similar to what you are looking for that targets PicoZed FMC V2.

    2. Try taking at look at our Zynq Hardware and Zynq Software Development Speedways. In that we use AXI Interconnect to interface with the processor. These tutorial are also an excellent start for learning and understanding Zynq Development.

    Goran,

The existing PCIe PIO design could be used as a guide to create a PicoZed 7030 and FMC v2 compatible design.  You would need to re-target to the Zynq 7030 and replace the constraints with a new set of constraints.

A full design is currently being worked on and will be posted as soon as it is ready.
