PicoZed Peripheral Interfaces

I would like to attach several peripherals using some of the available interfaces on the PicoZed, starting with I2C and SPI. One such peripheral might be a 9DOF accelerometer.

I am currently running the standard Linux image. Is it possible to connect these peripherals without modifying the SD image in Vivado? Is it possible only with Linux drivers?

It goes into implementing a perhperal as a drived fort he embedded linux.

Hi Josh,

The current image looks like it has I2C drivers already. So is there no way to use drivers already on the system? Is it necessary to write custom drivers like in that post?

Hi Jshimoun,
If you can get away with using a driver that is already in the Mainline Kernel, then yes you can get away without adding your own custom driver. Here is a list of what is currently in it.
