PicoZed SDR 2x2SOM Mechanical Rev E and Mechanical Rev C

Support,

I am trying to correlate the locations of the parts in the schematic with the board layout and when I use the step file of the 2X2SOM (08_038702d_MD.step), I am getting some conflicts.  Could you please provide a new (v4.zip) that replaces Z7PZ-SDR2_mechanical_v3.zip that matches my Rev E board?

Also if I want to see what parts are under the RF shield, do you have any documentation regarding this?  Otherwise I am having to resort to pulling off the shield, which I don't want to do because it would place undue strain on the circuit board.

A picture of what components are under the RF shield would be helpful.

Thanks for all of your support,

Craig

Did something significantly change between Rev C and Rev E?  IIRC, none of the STEP files are totally accurate (I think they said it's simply boxes over the entire part dimensions, rather than the actual part shape... or something like that).

Regarding the shield... on both my Rev B and Rev C boards, the shield is a 2 piece shield, where the lid simply pops off the frame.  Is that no longer the case on Rev E?  It's not very exciting under there though... IIRC it's just the AD9361, some transformers, and a few other small components.

    Pat,

I am modeling the board using Solidworks which involves replacing the Allegro Place Bound Top (simple boxes) with actual Solidword 3D step models for a more accurate Solidworks assembly.  There are a few places on the board that do not match what your overall board step model indicates.
