Conformal Coating

Question

We need to conformal coat the PicoZed SDR to meet environmental requirements on a program. Is there anything we need to be aware of when coating the board? Are there components we should avoid coating?

The RF cage top should be removed, and the connectors protected (both the RF connectors, the 4 X PicoZed connectors to the carrier, and P1 for USB programing the ADM1166 sequencer). It's expected that there will be some RF impact - but we don't know what that is (the boards were tuned for the non-coat).
