Why is the SPF+ cage not populated on the Picozed-SDR Carrier Card

Hi

In all the specs of the PicoZed-SDR carrier card the SFP+ connector and cage is mentioned. However all the pictures of the carrier card shows the cage as not being mounted, for example: http://zedboard.org/product/picozed-sdr-som-development-kit

Is there a specific reason for this?

The pictures are from initial prototype build that did not populate the SFP+ cage. Production units will have the cage. Thanks, Matt
