RFSoC rftool console command argument.

Hello,

I am attempting to load the “RF_Init.cfg”  file manually using “rftool” console command.

The ZCU208 Linux boot-up automatically loads the “/mnt/hdlcoder_rd/RF_Init.cfg” file and initializes it.

If I delete the “/mnt/hdlcoder_rd/RF_Init.cfg” file then the console shows an error message.

rf_init: Could not locate /mnt/hdlcoder_rd/RF_Init.cfg ! Exiting...

Does anyone know what rftool options are for loading user configuration files at the console?

zynqrf> rftool

Version number; 2.4

Board version ZCU208

RFCLK v1.4

RFCLK v1.4 Init Done

starting data server...
IP Address of the board: 192.168.1.101
Server Init Done

 Thanks,

    Hello @mbrown,

Thank you. I confirmed mw-rf-init command, and it is working as a rftool TCP/IP client.

I can reinitialize PLL and RFDC parameters.

Hi,  Just curious why you would need to reload the settings again?  The commands in RF_Init.cfg are executed when the board powers up.  Are you looking for a way to change NCO / Mixer frequencies?  If so and you are using Matlab you should consider using the following:  https://www.mathworks.com/help/supportpkg/xilinxsoc/ref/soc.rfdataconverter-system-object.html

You are certainly welcome to use the mw-rf-init command but do keep in mind it is possible that in future releases this will change a bit.

    Good luck with your project!
