RZBoard Bringup

Hi, I just got a RZ board and the card included with the kit mentioned a quick start guide at avnet.me/RzBoard. This redirects to, www.avnet.com/.../ which doesn't have any such guide. Could you direct me to one?

I noticed that the the linux partition is only 2.5GB of the available ~29ish GB. Any tips on resizing the partition?

    Multiple technical docs will be accessible later this week under the product page at https://avnet.me/RZBoard-V2L :

    • RzBoard V2L Hardware User Guide
    • RZBoard V2L Quickstart Guide
    • RZBoard V2L Linux Yocto User Manual
    • RzBoard V2L Linux Yocto Development Guide

    PS: To expand the size of your Linux rootfs partition, use the following steps:

    Caution: A miss-step in this procedure can delete all files on your board! (Backup any data that you don’t want to lose!)

    • Open a serial port connection to RZBoard's debug connector
    • Boot Linux and login to the board with user: root and password: avnet
    • Execute the command fdisk /dev/mmcblk0
    • Make note of the mmcblk0p2 start address displayed on the screen
    • Execute the following sequence of commands:
      p -> d -> 2 -> n -> p -> 2 -> <mmcblk0p2 start address> then -> enter (to accept default) -> N -> w
    • Now resize the partition using the entered settings: resize2fs /dev/mmcblk0p2
    • See the two screenshots below...
