LINUX ON ZYNQ (SMP)

Hello

I heard that linux running on Zynq ZC702 is SMP in nature,,does it mean that My application running on linux can use any of ARM core and kernel is responsible for that? but while creating new linux application in SDK ..When I choose linux as os I have to select the processor_1 or 2 so how does this SMP works...lil bit confused on it...plz share ur thoughts on this...
