Linux Boot Time Improvement

Hi,

Currently my Microzed Linux build boots in 13s (FSBL+uboot+Linux) all from SD card. I am looking for suggestions on how to improve this in either or all three of the stages (FSBL, uboot, Linux).

Anyone have any tips and tricks? If you could throw in links on how you do them that would be great too.

Tim,
QSPI is available as a primary boot source for Zynq, and boots considerably faster than any SD card on the market. There are also improvements that can be made in the boot times by optimizing the PS registers using a .INIT file. At X-fest 2014 there was a session on Zynq Boot and Configuration Procedures that describe these and other optimization techniques. Check it out at http://xfest2014.com.
