Hello World to run out of QSPI using L2 cache

Former Member

Hi,

I would like to modify the Hello World Application available here.

http://zedboard.org/support/design/1519/10

To create program using code to run out of QSPI using L2 cache. Make program repeat "Hello World" over and over.

Please let me know how the modifications required to be performed in the sample code for the above task.

Thanks in advance.

Take a look at this Tech Tip on the Xilinx Wiki:

    Hi Gary,

    Thanks for the reply.

    I have already done that.
The tip explains about booting and running without external memory. Also there is a tech tip to Lock and Execute out of L2- cache.
I used the sample codes as provided on the link in my previous post. I followed the instructions given in this tech tip. What i need is to run the code from L2-cache and not the OCM.

I feel there are some modifications required to the FSBL linker script.

I would like to understand how to do these so as to make the code run out of L2-cache.
