Can't start x in xillinux

Former Member
Former Member over 12 years ago

After I entered "startx" in xillinux, vga output goes black, and linux not response my input anymore.
I'm trying to write some driver modules for axi_gpio, but I didn't install any mmodule or driver.
Also "startx" goes well yesterday.
I'm "startx" from serial port and recorded the output bleow. Hope someone will solve the problem, or I may reinstall the xillinux...

Welcome to the Xillinux distribution for Zynq-7000 EPP.

You may communicate data with standard FPGA FIFOs in the logic fabric by

writing to or reading from the /dev/xillybus_* device files. Additional

pipe files of that sort can be set up at request of a custom Xillybus IP core.

    For more information: http://www.xillybus.com.

To start a graphical X-Windows session, type "startx" at shell prompt.

The by far most common reason for this problem is a faulty SD card. Please use a Sandisk if you aren't doing so already.
