Linux Applications using Linaro/CodeSourcery Toolchain

Hey all,

I'm wanting to build Linux applications with the Linaro and CodeSourcery toolchains that will run on the Zedboard. Currently, neither of the binaries produced by these toolchains will execute in the stock environment provided on the SD card. I know it's a shared library issue, but in trying to copy the needed libraries over to the RAMdisk during operation I get "out of space" errors. I checked how much space was left in RAM, and there should be enough to store what I need. I'm only able to copy over a few megabytes worth of files before it quits. Anyone know how to get around this issue?

I guess your RAMDisk is running out of space. Try to check how much is left in you RAMDisk partition by enter "df" command in the terminal. You can either build a larger initial RAMDisk image or mount another RAMDisk.

You may want to look into mounting the SD-Card file system rather than the RAM Disk file system. You can do this by changing the rcS file found in /etc/init.d/ directory in the RAM Disk.
