Has anyone got any success with getting this reference design working on the zed.

Sobel Filter is connected to a VDMA module with special driver provided in the reference design. This XVDMA driver uses xilinx dma driver provided in drivers/dma/xilinx_dma.c from the original Xilinx kernel source (git.xilinx.com).

kernel trees have quite different source for the
drivers/dma/xilinx_dma.c. from the original Xilinx kernel source. (~20k file difference)
XVDMA doesnt work with these kernels sources. Also using the xilinx_dma.c. from the original Xilinx in Digilent kernel source tree fails.
Alternative is to get the original Xilinx kernel source (git.xilinx.com) to work with zed the board.
Is it matter of just getting zed defconfig and zed dts working with this source tree..? and maybe board_zed.c and it's makefile in arch/arm/mach-zynq? Is there 3 modifications enough to get the Original Xilinx kernel working for the ZED?
