I develop my applications using SDK under windows7 x64. but sometimes SDK cann't connect to hardware and download my applications. i have no clear idea to solve the problem but to reboot my PC and zedboard.
i just want to ask those who are developing applications under suse ,ubuntu or other version of linux system:
is ISE more stable under linux than windows?

All serious development in Xilinx is done with linux.

For Zynq, we recommend you install a virtual linux machine on your windoze machine (see the zynq wiki).

I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 64-bit. It works very well with some caveats:

    - You can't use a license node-locked to a USB dongle or hard drive; it has to be a NIC.
    - The cable drivers need a slight modification to successfully build and install (details on the Xilinx forum)
    - You need symlink gmake to make (or install gmake?) to be able to synthesize (again, details on the Xilinx forum)

There are a few annoying differences between the Windows and Linux versions, but nothing you can't adapt to pretty quickly (especially considering how much things change just between new releases of the Xilinx software).
