Getting Started with Linux- Zedboard, linaro FS

Hi, Dear All,

I am following the reference design "Getting started with embedded Linux- Zedboard", which teaches how to format SD card and boot from SD card with linaro linux system.
When i came to download an image package -
a graphical desktop and that has been tested on the ZedBoard at:

http://releases.linaro.org/12.09/ubuntu/precise-images/ubuntu-desktop/linaro-precise-ubuntu-desktop-
20120923-436.tar.gz

This leads to a page not found. Also i tried to find through the
linaro.org for this release, and each entry leads to a
page not found.

So could anyone send me a valid link or tell me if i can use an alternative one?

    Thanks a lot!

    I have been able to find the package as you suggested in the archive directory.

    However now i want to try out with the new releases from linaro as i assume they will be better as embedded OS.

    For the new releases, there are three main Ubuntu distributions (don't know if distribution is the correct one), i tried to linaro vivid nano, this causes network failure in  Zedboard;  the other two options are linaro vivid gnome and developper,  do you have any information about these two concerning Zedboard?
