xfOpenCV on Ultrazed EG Platform

I am a new user evaluating xfOpenCV on the Ultrazed EG platform, and I have successfully followed the instructions to build and run the bilateral filter example in the Avnet document UZ3EG_IOCC_DP_SDSoC_2017_2_01.pdf.

Now I would like to test other xfOpenCV functions on the Ultrazed EG such as the meanStdDev function.

How do I make the meanStdDev function available as a hardware function?

First, congratulations on successfully building your first xcOpenCV function on the UltraZed EG platform !
In order to experiment and build other xfOpenCV functions, please consult the following Xilinx User Guide

The UG1233 document provides a complete list of the xfOpenCV functions.

I followed the instructions "Using the xfOpenCV Library on a non-reVISION Platform" starting on page 13 in UG1233 and built the example for the xf:meanStdDev from the xfOpenCV source code provided on GitHub. However, when I run the example, the hardware-accelerated function is taking 300msec and the software function is taking 29 msec on the supplied 1080x1920 image. On page 131, UG1233 shows a benchmark of 6.9msec for the hardware-accelerated function. I designated the xf:eanStdDev function for hardware and it appears in the Hardware Functions window in the SDx Project Settings.
How can I tell whether the function was actually implemented in hardware?
How can I tell what hardware resources were required to implement the function?
