Correct me if I am wrong but the xilinx gcc toolchain is originally from mentor graphics and stopped development in 2006, which explains why python and zeromq can't be built (no support for c++ long long datatypes).
Has anyone attempted using an alternative (more up-to-date) gcc toolchain for the arm architecture? I am considering investigating these two:
