PetaLinux 2016.4 BSP for UltraZed-EG PCIeCC

ovicks

I see now from microzed/picozed appends that 2016.4 is delayed; I'll fall back to 2016.2

I have an UltraZed-EG SOM on a PCIeCC and am trying to boot Linux from an SD card. I have the OOB "quick start" which works but uses initramfs; I'd like rootfs to be on the SD card. When OOB boots up it announces that it is "Based Upon the UZ3EG 2016.2 PetaLinux BSP from Avnet" but I've been unable to locate any such BSP.  Where can I find it? If it's not available, are there instructions on how to build what I need for an SD card?  I have the board definition files and have been thru the tutorial for the PCIeCC.. even have the echo server booting from SD. A lot works - I'm just missing a bridge from the standalone world to Linux.

(I'm using 2016.4 Vivado/SDK/u-boot/linux from Xlinux & github/Xilinx)

    Hi ovicks,

Sorry about the delays on the 2016.4 BSPs, we are hoping to get these out soon. That 2016.2 BSP is now posted as
"UltraZed PCIe Carrier Card - PetaLinux 2016.2 Compressed BSP" on this page:

    http://ultrazed.org/support/design/17956/141

    Regards,

    -Kevin

Any movement on this?  Or also for 2017.2 would be very helpful.  Thanks.

    Hello,

The 2017.2 BSP has been posted for both UltraZed IO Carrier Card and PCIE Carrier Card.
