debugging u-boot & linux kernel using XMD debugger

Hi all,

I want to debug the linux and u-boot for debugging SMP support in linux kernel using XMD.

Can you please provide me clear process (step by step process) of how to do the same.

Hello Satish,

Your question is really beyond the scope of this forum. It is not directly related to ZedBoard, but is really specific to using the Xilinx tools to debug the Linux kernel. We are really focused on supporting the 'zed boards and SOMs and will help when we can but don't have the expertise in the area you are asking about.

You will probably reach a broader and more knowledgeable audience on the Xilinx Community forum for Embedded Linux and, in fact, it looks like you have asked the question and received an answer there:
