Unable to boot from SD card 14.4

Hello i am trying to boot from SD card.
I have a working SDK project and bitfile from EDK, which can be properly transmitted to the Zedboard and i am able to run the software.

Then i pressed: Xilinx Tools --> Create Zynq Boot Image

In the following Windows  i added the FSBL elf file, which i had to download from a Tutorial as in 14.4 it is not possible to create a new project with xilinx templates!

Then I added the bitfile for the system and finally the elf file from my application. It is the elf file from the Debug Folder of my Application.

Then a *.Bin and *.MSC file is generated.

I copied the Bin file to the SD Card and started the board. No blue LED turns on, which indicates that even the bitfile isnt loaded. So anyone got an idead?

I tried to follow the Zedboard boot guide for 14.1.

    Hi

It's definitely possible to create a FSBL using SDK 14.4.  File > New > Application Project then select C with a standalone OS and click Next to bring up a list of the available templates.

I think the FSBL doesn't depend on the HW configuration, but try to generate your own just in case.

    Hi mukesh

Could you be a bit more descriptive please.

What have you put in the boot image?
Are you trying to boot Linux or a standalone program?
What else have you got on the SD card?
Does the blue LED which indicates the PL has been programmed come on?

    Hi !!
I'm using the SDK 14.6 (32bits). I created the FSBL and created Boot image then copy BOOT.BIN to SD card. The FSBL doesn't work Blue LED doesn't turn on. But if i replace the new FSBL with the old one from example, the BOOT.BIN work normally. Anyone give me what wrong is it ? Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

May be from the other side of the process, but I am following the steps to bring FMCOMMS1 + Zedboard from H/W reference design and face similar problems using Vivado 2014.2 64bit on Linux.

I have bit file that I can use to configure PL through SDK->Xilinx Tools->Program FPGA

The led LD12 becomes lit.  I have created bin and mcs files - but non of them configure the PL.  I have tried using QSPI (SDK->Xilinx Tools->Program Flash) with both mcs and bin files - that didn't succeed. Same with bin file when booting from SD card.  But if I place bin file from provided SD card - the system brings up.
