Hi,
It has not yet been posted. It will posted and supported via Element14. I will reply back when it is.
Thanks,
Josh
Can anyone at Element14 provide an update on this issue? It would be useful to know if there is an expected timeframe for the release. At the same time, if Element14 has decided there will not be any additional BSP releases for this hardware that would also be good to know.
Thank you!
Hi,
We are planning to release the 2018.3 BSP by the end of March.
Thanks,
Josh
Hello everyone,
I am also intrested in new ultra96 petalinux 2018.3 bsp. Is there any official release date? Also I am really intrested about support for ultra96 v1 board. Is v1 board will be supported and will get new bsp in future after ultra96 v2 board gets realesed?
Thank you
Well personally for me who is new to linux the petalinux environment helps me to create project faster. With petalinux you can easily edit kernel, rootfs, create loadable kernel modules. Basically if you are new to linux you can create your project with only few commands in terminal and there is a lot examples and tutorials by Xilinx and other community users.
thanks
Hi Hamza,
We have encountered an issue with integrating the wifi driver into our BSP that we are still working on. I will let you know when I have more information in regards to the release schedule.

Hi Joshua,
It looks like the BSP for petalinux 2018.3 already exists (Ultra96-PYNQ project by Avnet).
https://github.com/Avnet/Ultra96-PYNQ/tree/master/Ultra96
Sure, the DPU is not included, however, the wifi driver seems to be working.
Thanks.
