Unable to boot Standalone application from SD card - Ultra 96 v2

Hi,

We are trying to boot our bare-metal application from SD card, but to no avail. The "Done" light never turns on. However, we are able to boot the standard linux image for this board (so, I guess the settings for booting from sd card and the sd card itself has no issues).

The application works in debug mode without any issues. But, if I create a bootable image, it doesn't boot (i have tried to create boot image for basic hello world application too, even that doesn't work). I have followed the steps as per the the Ultra96 user guide found in zedboard/element14 website (04_Ultra96_FSBL_Boot_2018_2_01.pdf). I have even tried across multiple sd cards and with different Vivado versions(both 2019.1 and 2018.2).

Can anyone direct me what could be the possible issue here ?

Regards,

Prashanth

It turns out that the boot.bin was getting encrypted when it was being copied through USB due to company security policy. However, when we used a system without this security policy to the copy the boot.bin file to sd card, the boot worked without any issues.

So, the issue is resolved for us ! Thanks !
