I am designing a system using UltraZed-EV for high-speed data acquisition (2 ADC channel, 1 Gsps sampling rate, 16-bit ADC, data rate = 2 x 1G x 16bit = 2GB/s). The ADC data will be saved on DDR4 in real time (1Gsps). Once the capture is done, the data is read by the ARM and sent back to host PC through the Ethernet port.
My question is: how to direct write the data (generated the ADC HDL interface PL logic) to the on-board DDR4 memory of Ultrazed-EV? There is a 4GB PS DDR4 and a 1GB PL DDR4. Both memories are big enough for my application. Can anyone shine some light on how to write one of these two DDR4 memory from PL ? Is there any design example ?
I can also change to UltraZed-EG SOM if the memory write/read is easier.
