PL_SYSCLK

I have the UltraZed-EV starter kit, and from looking at the IDT Clock Synthesizer on the Carrier Card, there is PL_SYSCLK going to the SOM module. It is 300MHz. We were wandering what that is used for in the FPGA fabric?

hello, you can use it for whatever you want in the PL!

Hi Randy,

This is not on the carrier card. It is up on the SOM.

We have not created a design with this clock. It is shown on sheet 9 of the SOM schematic. Search "sysclk_p" and you will find that it touches pins and the AC7 and AC8 on bank 66.

Normally we have things like this in place to easily clock the PL without the need for clock configuration in the PS.
