Yocto machine conf for UltraZed-EG

Former Member
Former Member over 8 years ago

Hello

Just want to hear if anybody is working on a machine conf for UltraZed-EG for meta-xilinx yocto layer. I can see a machine conf for Xilinx's own ultrascale dev board zcu102-zynqmp.conf.

Best regards

Esben

I have the same question.  In my checkout of yocto I see microZed, picoZed, and zedBoard, but no ultraZed.

    Hello,

The only thing we offer today is PetaLinux BSP, but if you are willing to look into the work on your own, there is support for ZynqMP within the meta-xilinx layer:

Ok, but for the future what is the plan to support UltraZed in the meta-xilinx layer?

    Hello Mroths,

We have had a few conversations in regards to supporting the UltraZed in the meta-xilinx layer. However as for now nothing has been confirmed that we are moving foward with. I have reached out to those whom would be responsible for this to get a further update, but it appears they are out of office until July. I will respond back when I hear a response.

Without the source behind the BSP the board is quite useless.

    Josh

Much Thanks for your quick response , I did see the BSP support in the link you provided

What i was looking for was the board support in github

    https://github.com/Xilinx/linux-xlnx

    https://github.com/Xilinx/u-boot-xlnx

    or

    https://github.com/Xilinx/meta-xilinx

As i past we have been developing project based on Yocto or pulling BSP from github individually

    & builiding

I dont see any such documnet in the link you provided ,Is the board support added in those repos. ?

    Thanks
