Hi,

 I received UltraZed last week.

I am already removed JP1 shunt.
but UltraZed does not work. (Lit D10 only)

 Is this failure parts?
 Is shipping test not enough?

 A useless time passed.
 I am puzzled.

following is last posted.

Hi Josh,
I recieved new UltraZed last week. but this has same problem.

  lit D10 only.
  No terminal response.
  Fun is not powerd.
  w/, w/o JP1 shunt is no effect.
  SW2 = 1110 and  1010 and 0101 w/SD card is no effect.
      ( ultrazed_eg_starter_kit_getting_started_guide_v1_1  p.8 photo SW2 position as 0xA? but p.9 explained as 0x5(typo?) )
  Other JP position as,
     JP2, J14, JP6 = 1
     J1, 2,13,15 = not 1
     no jumper for JP7
I would like to know to solve.

    Hello Gaku,

Just to be clear, you have removed the JP1 shun from the UltraZed SOM not the IO Carrier Card correct? Also are you using the 12V power adapter that came with the kit?

    Hello Gaku,

Will you please specify if you removed the JP1 shunt from the SOM or from the Carrier Card.

    Thank you,

    Josh

    Hi Josh,

Sorry, posted JP1 is IO carrier card's.
    I found SOM's 3 JPs (small)

I removed SOM's JP1 and Insert IO carrier's JP1 again, but still D10 lit only.
    (SOM's  JP2/3 are still inserted.)

    Thank you

    Hello Gaku,

We suspect there is an issue with the PMIC on the IO Carrier Card. Please refer to your private messages on the top right hand corner of this webpage to discuss how we plan to remedy your issue.

    Hi JFoster,

I have the same issue. I have removed JP1 jumper in SOM . Also connected JP1 jumper in carrier board. Still only D10 LED gets lit on and nothing else. Not even fan is working even after connecting to fan jumper. Please let me know the solution asap.

It was the same for me. I followed the Instructions on the Quick Start Card and later on the Getting Started Guide and checked everything multiple times. After a while of playing around, I installed the screws, which are shipped with the UltraZed Started Kit, to tie the SOM to the Carrier Card. Then everything worked properly

Josh, we have a board that was working but now only the D10 LED is lit.  What is the PMIC remedy you mention above?  Thanks
