ultrazed recompile kernel

I would like to recompile the ultrazed kernel to enable some gadget mode testing on the iocc carrier card.

I have found the zcy02 ( zu9 ) BSPs on the Xilinx web site. 

Will these work with a custom device tree file?  Can I pull the device tree file out of the existing 2016.2 BSP file?  If not then where do I get it?

I would like to use 2016.4, since we have other projects using it, but I can't find anythiog for the zu3. 

Is it just too new, or should I be looking someplace else.

    Hi brettbolen,

    The 2016.2 PetaLinux BSP Josh mentioned above can be recreated using the build automation script that is available on our GitHub repository:

    https://github.com/Avnet

    You will need a copy of both the HDL repository to build the hardware platform with Vivado and also the software repository to setup the PetaLinux project but that entire build can be launched with software/petalinux/scripts/make_uz3eg_petalinux_bsp.sh

    I want to just rebuild the BSP for our UltraZed,but not the stuff related to Vivado. I have installed the PetaLinux tools in /opt/petalinux-v2016.2-final/ (which matches the script file you mentioned) and loaded the hdl/software repos from git into /home/<username>/repos/hdl and software.

    Where am I supposed to run the software/petalinux/scripts/make_uz3eg_petalinux_bsp.sh from because there are hardcoded locations checked in the script files?
