I have tried contacting my local FAE for Avnet (Huntsville), but no one would answer my call. Is there another way I could contact someone at Avnet to obtain the source files?
I'll DM you with some instructions. It is possible the local office is closed down for the moment. There should be a mechanism in place to capture support requests and I can follow up to ensure that is also working.
I have been searching for the Altium files for the UltraZed EV carrier board and so far have been unable to find them. Could you send me these instructions as well?
I have reached out to Avnet and Newark and called my local offices (Dayton Ohio and Cleveland) but so far no luck! I greatly appreciate any assistance in this matter.
Those instructions were specific to Josh's issue due to the current world situation. You will need to contact your local FAE as a first step. If I need to intervene later I can. The proper process is to first contact your local FAE/Sales office. They can then make the request on your behalf.
I called Dayton and they instructed me to to email sales@avnet.com, which I did. Sales could not supply us with the files or refer us to an FAE.
We called again, and informed them of the above. They let us know us that since we placed our order on Newark we could not get support from Avnet. We contacted Newark via IM asking for Altium Files and they sent us a link to the product page which only contains the .PDF schematics.
Is it possible for Newark to direct us to an FAE or do I need to reach back out to Avnet?
