UART No output on serial termination

Hi all,

I have a bera metal video system( parallel video input -> Vid_in_axi4s -> VDMA -> Memory), and i found the Status register of VDMA gives Error status(at this time, UART can output on the termination)u3002 To debug it, i add chipscope (axi_monitor/ila) to my project, but when i run the software, this time there is No any output on the serial termination! Does chipscope affect the UART1? Very confusion! How can i fix this problemuFF01 Any suggestion would be very appreciate! (ISE 14.5)

Then I try to debug the code to check whether the UART1 in an abnormal status in SDK. But when i switch to DEBUG perspective,
i can not resume the code as it is inactive(grey status). Step In, Step Out, Step Over, Step Return are the same status.

I'm not sure what is happening, but adding chipscope should have no affect on the UART. The latest public driver from Cypress has disabled the persistent mode on the COM port. Therefore, when you cycle power to the ZedBoard, you must disconnect the terminal, and then reconnect after the system is powered up again.
