Configure Ethernet interface (ENET0)

Hi everyone,

First, I'm sorry because this question is very basic... but I'm starting with Vivado and FPGAs, and I can't find any information about that.

I'm trying to make work the Ethernet port in a Zedboard in order to run over it a bare-metal application. Inside Vivado, I've enabled the Eth0 interface, but I guess that's not enough. I don't know if connection between RJ45 port and PS is configured automatically. Sould I add any custom IP and/or configure any pinout or constraints?

If you target the ZedBoard in your Vivado design and tell it to use the board presets, either explicitly or via the checkbox in the 'Run Automation' dialog, it will make the Ethernet connections automatically for you.

Ok, then I think my design was correct. I guess the problem is still the standalone application... :(
