HDMI Display Controller Tutorial does not meet timing

Hi,

I am going through the "ZedBoard - HDMI Display Controller Tutorial - 2013.3" pdf document and following it exactly, using Vivado 2013.3. The document is here:

When I generate the bitstream, it runs synthesis and implementation but generates 5 critical warnings, including "design does not meet timing".

How can I fix these issues?

    Brad,

    I just went through the tutorial and you are correct.
    The XDC constraints file contained a typo.

    Please modify the following line:
       create_generated_clock -name hdmio_clk [get_pins tutorial_i/clk_wiz_0/U0/mmcm_adv_inst/CLKOUT0]

    with the following correct constraint:
       create_generated_clock -name hdmio_clk [get_pins tutorial_i/clk_wiz_0/inst/mmcm_adv_inst/CLKOUT0]

    Note that "U0" was changed to "inst" in the hierarchy path for CLKOUT0.
