Writing .bin Files to QSPI Flash of Zedboard

Hello all,

I am trying to execute an algorithm on PS side of Zedboard; and the function needs several inputs, each of which has a separate data file in .bin format. The problem is that I could not find how to write these files on the QSPI flash of the chip. If anyone was able to implement such as an application, could you please help me about how to proceed?

Hello Necati,

The answer depends on if you are using an OS, such as Linux or FreeRTOS, or you are implementing a 'bare metal' application. In either case the discussion in this forum thread is a good place to start:

Thanks Gary,

I have been working on "standalone" environment. Thus, it will be a bare-metal application. I could not find chance to try uboot. I am performing my reading and writing operations via SD card. Anyways, I will need to implement QSPI in any case.
