SDK 2014.4 problem with bootgen and Runnig elf

Hi
I have some problems with SDK 2014.4
1 I cant run elf on my Zedboard from SDK 2014.4 . when I try u201Crun as ->  launch on hardware u201C I got below error:

Error Launching program
Troubleshooting hints:
1. check whether ...

I have this problem just on windows 7 (not on Ubuntu 14.04)
On SDK 2013.3 I solved this problem by changing JTAG configuration to u201D Digilent USB Cableu201D
2 I think  u201CCreate Boot imageu201D in not working correctly  ! I tried it many times (from Ubuntu and win7) but when I copy BOOT.bin to SD card zedboard does not working . I tried BOOT.bin file from speedway ZynqHW 2014.4 solution and the result was same (didnu2019t work)
Iu2019m sure my Zedboard is not broken  (I tested BOOT.bin from speedway 2013.3 solution and that worked ! and as I said run elf from Ubuntu is possible )
Sorry for my bad English!

We just ran through this sequence while updating the ZynqHW and ZynqSW labs to 2014.4. I am using Win7, and I was able to launch an application on hardware from SDK 2014.4, as long as my cable was connected properly and I had previously configured the bitstream. Did you make sure to accept all the Java permissions that pop up the first time you run things after 2014.4 install?

I also used the SD Card for booting. If you're having trouble with a particular SD Card, I recommend you try another one.

Regarding the solution, are you certain that you copied the ZedBoard solution and not the MicroZed solution? Also, when you say it doesn't work, does it do nothing? No DONE? No output to terminal? Nothing? Are you setting the MODE jumpers correctly for SD Boot?

    Bryan

    Hi
    Thanks for reply
    Problem solved!!!
It seems that my SD cart was not supported.
I really don't know how it could be possible , but I didn't have any problem with Vivado 2013.3 (and of course same SD card!).
I still use that SD card for booting linux .

The first problem is not important. I prefer to use Ubuntu or CentOS rather than win7.
I install Vivado on win just to test bitggen!
