HDMI Bare Metal Reference Design Using ADV7511 and ADI IP for VIVADO 2015.2

Dear,

I have followed the reference design for HDMI output " HDMI Bare Metal Reference Design Using ADV7511 and ADI IP" on Zedboard, It worked well with Vivado 2013.4. However, When I upgrade the project on Vivado 2015.2 it give out error and cannot upgrade some ipcore for HDMI (ie. clk_gen,...).

Has anyone success upgraded the reference design from Vivado 2013.4 to Vivado 2015.2 ?

Could Avnet help me to create another version of this reference design for Vivado 2015.2 ?

Hi Vu,
I've got the same problem like you. You have to know that between the version 2013.4 and 2015.2 they had been many changes on IP espicially on the clock generator.
In order to avoid this problem I would like to suggest you two sollutions:
1- If your project can be done on the old version 2013.4, just on this version it could be better to understand the clock of Ips.
2 - What I have done personnaly that I have creat my own project without upgrading the old version, then I have added the Ip of HDMI on the IP repisitory on vivado, then it works on vivado 2015.2.

Dear Anissbelmajy,
Many thanks for your suggestions, I will try the second solution.
I also found on page of Analog Device source code that support to 2015.2.1 (not 2015.2), I paste the link here just in case someone needed: https://github.com/analogdevicesinc/hdl
However I have no successful when install 2015.2.1 upgraded on my PC :(. It seem that the upgrade version cannot detect my 2015.2 software installed.

I am new to zynq, woring on zed board.
Can you please give the detailed steps on how to add ADI HDMI IP to Vivado repository and how to add that IP to our own project.

Hello Hari,
If you are new to zynq, my suggestion would be to complete the Developing Zynq Software and the Developing Zynq Hardware Speedways. There Speedways will get you up an running with Vivado and Zynq.
