ZedBoard Hardware Design out-of-box sd card boot to zynq prompt with one host, but only get to zed-boot prompt on another host

out-of-box sd card boot to zynq prompt with one host, but only get to zed-boot prompt on another host

I downloaded the oob sd card image to put in my sd card, (the old one is corrupted). I notice it works well on my Windows PC and boot the zedboard to get the zynq> prompt.

However, when it is boot up from my Linux host, it only get to the zed-boot. It acts like someone has stopped the auto-boot by pressing the keyboard.

Please advise

    Hello Yuri,

     

    You don't mention what terminal program you are using on your Linux host, but it sounds as if it may be the problem. If you are using minicom you might take a look at one of these two examples of how they set up their terminal:

    I have luck with the tried and true minicom under Linux.  There are some setup instructions that I posted a while back to help you get started:
