Altium project files

I noticed that ZedBoard was designed using Altium. It would be great if ZedBoard.org would allow us to download the Altium project archive instead of just providing plain gerber files. This would really benefit the community and expedite development.

Xilinx has been doing this with Allegro for so long. I hope you follow their footsteps.

Thanks for your inquery. Here is the answer to your question:

Unfortunately they will not be posted publicly, however if you contact your local Avnet FAE they will be able to get them for you. I would go about this by calling your local Avnet Office, or stopping by and asking for the Xilinx FAE contact.

We have just purchased the board from Digilent and they refused to provide us with Altium project files. They replied

"Unfortunately, we cannot distribute the Altium source files, as our current policy restricts us from doing so. I am sorry for any inconvenience"
