smaller LCD for ZED board

Hello,
   For a project we need a smaller (compared to the one offered) touch-LCD screen. Digikey has a smaller LCD from Sharp (LQ043T1DG28); may I ask if your interface  circuit could be connected to that.
Also, could the existing drivers be used for the smaller LCD?

    Digilent offers an FMC card with a smaller LCD that might be a good starting point.

     

    Seems every one of these LCDs, even from the same manufacturer, uses a different connection scheme, so the Avnet 7" Touch Display interface is likely not directly compatible. However, our system was designed to be somewhat universal where you could simply design a new interface adapter on the display side and re-use the Pmod ALI3 and cabling.

     

    The IP that we offer for our 7" Touch Display could certainly be adapted. You'd have to dig into the Display Controller to adjust the resolution and timing to fit your needs.
