I have used the Zedboard a bit and I have found that 1V PSU is under-powered when running large FPGA design. 1.2A is budgeted for the PL of the Zynq, but I have made some design that require more than that.

When this design is loaded to the Zedboard, it causes a reset because the power supply failed. See voltage measured at C357.

Also, I have disconnected MAX15021ATI+ chip and connected an external power supply. This solved the reset issue. I saw from the reading that as much as 3A can be drawn from the 1V PSU, but the MAX15021ATI+ can only provide 2A.
Is there any plan for a new revision of this board? I would very much like to see an improved 1V power supply. It would improve the Zedboard functionality.
