LVDS signal to FMC connector

Hi,
before I buy the Zedboard, I want to make sure that I can send LVDS (1.8V) signals to the FMC connector pins instead of LVDS_25(2.5V).

Can I send 1.8V LVDS signals to the FMC Pins?

The Zynq 7020 Banks 34 and 35, which are connected to the FMC connector on the Zedboard, are 'HR' type I/O and can only be configured as LVDS_25 per the 7 Series Select IO Users Guide: http://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/user_guides/ug471_7Series_SelectIO.pdf

As suggested in this post on the Xilinx Community Forums you may be able to connect LVDS_18 signals to the LVDS_25 signals on the Zynq via the FMC, but you will need to do your own homework to determine if it works for your application.
