I have seen several posts regarding this issue, so I apologize for adding another one. I understand that the on-board USB-to-JTAG bridge works only with the PS UART1 interface. What are my options of adding a USB-to-UART bridge for the PL side?
I am taking a class which is teaching microblaze and picoblaze. I need to use the UART interface for standard I/O, but my laptop does not have a UART interface. I don't see a PL-Pmod accessory for USB-to-UART bridge. I can buy a generic USB to UART converter on ebay, but not sure about the voltage level compatibility. Can anyone give me some suggestions?
