unable to run xapp-1078

Hello and greetings
I have a zedboard, and I have to run XAPP-1078. For creating linix kernel I used "https://ez.analog.com/.../Ubuntu_on_Zedboard_Tutorial_v14.4_01.pdf" tutorial, I successfully ran OS based on this tutorial on both cores, but as I add maxcpus=1 to zynq-zed-adv7511.dts to run my OS on only one core, I cannot boot my OS. Can anyone help me?

I know aboud modification. The problem is as I add maxcpus=1 and I start linux to load it hangs at : drivers/rtc/hctosys.c: unable to open rtc device (rtc0).
And it does not continue.

That is an interesting error considering that the ZedBoard does not have an rtc (Real Time Clock). It implies that perhaps you are using a build for another board. Please check and make sure you are building your project for the ZedBoard.

You could also try removing the RTC from the device tree source, since there is no rtc, and see what happens.
